Session 1: Octopus Renegade

My submission to the Devious Renditions group for Session 1.

Okay, so when I was told the theme for the piece, I didn't quite know what a renegade was, so I looked it up in the dictionary, then on Wikipedia. Afterwards, I still didn't know what it was, so I decided to go in another direction, and give an octopussy twist on the cover of a HammerFall album called Renegade. [link]

I hope it's still eligible.

I'm sure someone else in this group could've done this better, as I can't draw shadows for jack, but I'm pretty pleased with this overall. Enjoy my lame attempts to simulate sunlight filtering through the waves.

The Renegade Album obviously belongs to HammerFall.
