Eucoala and burrobat

Here are eucoala, and burrobat, aka, my two Aussie pokemon.

All right, I couldn't call myself a pokemon fake maker without making a koala pokemon (pokemon really needs to make a real one, BTW), so here's my koala pokemon, eucoala. Or koalypt. Either way. Eucoala's an arboreal (that's the word, right?) grass type, which can learn leaf blade on its own, despite not being a starter (come on, what else could those leaves be for?).

Its counterpart, burrobat, is a burrowing ground type pokemon. When I was thinking of a koala pokemon, I thought it would be cool if I made a set of counterpart aussie pokemon which represented the split between treelife and life in the ground. Burrobat's pretty uninteresting, and I didn't know what a ground type should look like, so I just gave it a set of plates like sandshrew or donphan or something... Well, at least it's sort of cute and fuzzy.

I thought these two could live in a safari zone type area with kangaskahn and psyduck (other Aussie pokemon. Cyndaquil'd be there too, if it wasn't a starter). It would be on the southern region, because they do, indeed, live down under.
